A:  In order to register in Floral Park Little League you must reside in Floral Park, Nassau or Bellerose Village, Nassau.

Q:  Who runs the Floral Park Little League?

A:  Floral Park Little League is a non-profit organization that is run by the Floral Park Little League Board of Directors. We follow the directives and rules of Little League Inc. located in Williamsport Pa.

Q:  When do I register my child for Floral Park Little League?                                        [top]

A:  Registration for the spring season starts in early December and continues until early March. Late registrations will not be accepted. In the past we have had situations where children were not permitted to play due to a parents failure to register in a timely fashion. It is no fun to tell a child that they will not be able to play so please register early. Click here to see this year's registration dates.

Q:  Why does registration occur so far in advance?

A:  There is a lot of planning and preparation that goes into properly setting up all the divisions. Then rosters have to be set, uniforms/equipment have to be ordered and schedules have to be made.  Many other things go on behind the scenes to make the Little League experience a great one for everyone involved. It is a lot of work and the board members do all this on a volunteer basis.

Q:  Where are the games played?

A:  Games are played at the Floral Park Recreation Center. Click here for locations of fields.

Q:  Who decides if a game is rained out?                                                                          [top] 

A:  The Floral Park Recreation Center makes the decision regarding rainouts. If you have any questions regarding a rain delay or a rain out call the Floral Park Recreation Center at

Q:  When will team photos be taken?

A:  You will be notified about team photo by you child's coach. Dates will also be posted on the website.

Q:  How can I volunteer?

A:  Floral Park Little League is always looking for volunteers to coach or manage a team. On the registration form just indicate your willingness to volunteer and you will be contacted.

A:  A good deal of time is put into making each team competitive. Requests for placement on a specific team are usually not permitted.
