2021 Spring Registration open until April 4. Early Bird rates end 3/21.

Spring is a season of hope, renewal, and growth and that certainly is the feeling at Freeport Pownal Little League.

We are happy to announce that our Spring 2021 registrations are now live for
Tee ball, AAA, Minors, and Majors.

You can register at www.fpll.org. Registrations will remain open from Saturday, March 13 to Sunday, April 4. Registrations received after April 4 are not guaranteed and will be processed based on available space.

We continue to follow the guidance of the CDC, Maine CDC, and other state and local officials on best practices related to COVID-19. We will be in touch as the season nears with more details about our health and safety plan and expectations for players and families this upcoming season. We are just so happy to be offering a Spring 2021 season and know all families are equally as excited and will be great partners in helping get the kids back on the fields with their friends.

SEASON START & END DATES: Minors and Majors are set to start around May 1 and run through June 26. Tee ball and AAA (coach pitch) will start around May 17 and run through June 26. The later start for the younger players will allow the temps to warm up just a bit more and for us to continue sorting through field availability and scheduling. If field availability and field conditions allow, we will be in touch about pre-season activities.

YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT: To begin registration, you can create a new account (for players registering for the first time) or log into your old account (for returning families) via our website: www.fpll.org.

Here is a link to one of their help guides on this subject: https://sportsconnect-parents.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023881873-Club-Platform-Online-Registration-Instructions

GATHER SOME INFO BEFORE STARTING: To speed up your registration process and avoid "timing out" of the session, we recommend you gather the following information for each player in your family:

Health Insurance: Insurance company, policy holder (parent/guardian), and policy #
Medical/Doctor: Family physician's name and phone number
Emergency Contact: Emergency contact name and phone number.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY DOCUMENTS:
You DO NOT need to provide (upload) proof of birth, school enrollment, or residency during registration. You can simply skip that section. That information will only be required for all-star team eligibility.  Simply fill out the required fields in the registration form and then click "Continue" to advance in the registration. Again, you DO NOT need to provide (upload) any of the eligibility documents during registration.

2020 COVID CREDITS: Families that requested a credit in 2020 will see that credit in their account when they checkout during registration. We are keeping the same Early Bird and Regular registration fees as last year.

2021 EARLY BIRD RATES & DATES: FPLL will offer $20 discounts per player for those that register between March 13 and March 21. Early Bird rates are $45 for Tee-ball and AAA (coach pitch) and $70 for Minor and Major levels.

2021 REGULAR RATES & DATES: Regular season rates start on March 22 and are in effect until registration closes on April 4. Regular Rates are $65 for Tee-Ball and AAA (coach pitch) and $90 for Minor and Major levels.

MULTIPLE CHILD/FAMILY RATESFPLL Board offers a multi-child discount for families with 3 or more players in their household. That discount will be applied at checkout during registration.

SCHOLARSHIPS: FPLL is committed to ensuring our programs accessible to all. Please email Tom Boutureira at [email protected] if you need scholarship/financial assistance and we will work with you to make sure your player can participate this season.

SPECIAL NOTE ON EQUIPMENT: In addition to a glove/mitt, we are asking parents to provide a helmet for their child this season to assist us with COVID-19 protocols. We created a question in the registration to indicate if you'll need FPLL to purchase a helmet for your player. We don't want $ or gear to be a barrier to playing.
